Poland’s foreign ministry announced that a Russian missile hit the Polish village of Przewodów, near the border with Ukraine today killing two Polish citizens, according to their statement.
Polish Foreign Affairs Minister Zbigniew Rau summoned the Russian foreign minister “and demanded immediate and detailed explanation,” the statement went on to say.
Earlier, a senior U.S. intelligence official had said that Russian missiles had crossed into Poland, but Poland’s statement said it was one missile.
Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said the government was investigating and raising its military preparedness.
The Russian Defense Ministry denied responsibility for the strike. “No strikes were made against targets near the Ukrainian-Polish state border by Russian means of destruction,” it said in a statement.
If Russia had deliberately targeted and struck Poland, it would risk drawing the 30-nation NATO alliance into Russia’s war on Ukraine.
NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg called an emergency meeting for later in the day of the alliance’s envoys to discuss the events close to the Ukrainian border in Poland.
There are reports Poland is considering invoking NATO Article 4 in order to discuss its concerns with the security alliance’s decision-making body, and to increase the combat readiness of Polish troops.
Today Russia fired about 100 missiles at Ukraine in its largest aerial assault yet, pounding their energy infrastructure striking targets across the country and causing widespread blackouts.
The Biblical prophecies (Ezekiel 38, Ezekiel 39) foretell that Magog Russia will make aggression on other nations that ultimately affects Israel in the Last Days signaling we are nearing the end of this age and the coming of Jesus Christ.
These events and conditions happening now are warning signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare now for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).
