The first wave of the coronavirus pestilence in the US is increasing as the politicized pandemic is trying to be denied and ignored by some in a divided America.
Nearly half of states are reporting a rise in new cases and some continue to break records in their daily reported cases. In Florida, Gov. Ron DeSantis said cases are “shifting in a radical direction.”
As experts have raised alarm about Florida’s climbing cases, saying the state could become the next US coronavirus epicenter. When Florida recently reported 4,049 new cases — the most reported in a single day.
And across the US, medical experts continue to repeat warnings highlighting the need for social distancing and face covers.
Saying that the increase being seen has everything to do with behavior. And that political leaders need to talk to people more about following the guidelines, as wearing masks, avoiding crowds, staying home if possible and washing their hands.
But the country is divided over following the guidelines, with the coronavirus pestilence becoming politicized.
California Gov. Gavin Newsom announced last week residents were required to wear a face covering in “high risk” settings, including indoor public space, public transportation or while seeking medical care.
In Texas, one of the first states to push forward with reopening, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott rebuffed the request from city mayors that would allow them to require masks in their cities.
As some mayors said the Texas Governor’s push to re-open the state and making it so that cites couldn’t enforce masks, sent the message that maybe this thing was over.
But Texas has announced a record number of hospitalizations as its death toll rises.
And 23 states are seeing a rise in new reported cases compared to the previous week, according to data from Johns Hopkins University.
They are: Arizona, California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington, West Virginia and Wyoming.
The Biblical Prophecies of Jesus (Matthew 24, Luke 21) foretell that pestilence will be a sign indicating the nearing of the end of this age.
These events and conditions happening now are warning signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare now for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).
