A Bourbon Street mass shooting early Sunday morning was sparked by an argument between two men not from New Orleans, NOPD Supt. Michael Harrison said Sunday afternoon.
New Orleans police department investigators are studying the crime scene near Bourbon and Canal Streets after 10 people were shot and one killed, and none of the 10 victims appear to have been intended targets.
Mayor Mitch Landrieu said at the scene, “Totally unacceptable. The violence continues to spin out of control.”
