New York Nurse Says It Has Been Post-Apocalyptic Like In A Movie

Signs of the Last Days® MinistryNews

The coronavirus reports out of New York have unfortunately been horrific with large numbers of cases and deaths including refrigerated trucks parking at hospitals as morgues to handle the numbers.

Its been like an apocalypse on the medical front. But those are not our words but that’s actually the description of the nurses on the front-lines in the hospitals.

Where one emergency room nurse at a Medical Center in the Bronx who heads the New York State Nurses Association described the situation as “post-apocalyptic — like in one of those movies I used to watch.”

But now those apocalyptic movies she used to watch have become all too real as the Signs of the Last Days prophecies increase.

They have become a prophetic grim reality to a great degree as embattled New York doctors and nurses say that as they dealt with the pandemic crisis they changed how they would deal with patients.

As doctors had to make decisions as to who lives and who dies with the life-or-death decisions made on the fly as they were under the crush of large numbers of patients.

Where doctors and hospitals either formally or also informally changed their policies on how they would deal with resuscitation.

A medical center like one in New Jersey actually changed their policy during the crisis where they said that all covid-19 patients were to be designated as DNR, which means no CPR. And they also said that the policy applied to all infected patients as well as to those suspected of being infected.

A physician at a Brooklyn Hospital said that doctors there were told not to perform CPR except in rare cases where the patient is young, otherwise healthy, and is judged to have a good chance of recovery.

And for the other patients he said, “we are pretty much doing nothing.” The doctor spoke on the condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the media.

But there has been a toll taken on the the health workers themselves, with hundreds of them sick and thousands of them that went into isolation. And there have been those doctors and nurses who have died.

The nurse who heads the nurse’s union at one New York medical center said that about 1,000 health-care workers from there had been out sick or in isolation at some time due to known or suspected exposure to covid-19.

And nurses have said there were changes in self-isolation procedures for health-care workers suspected of exposure, from at first 14 days that kept reducing until down to 72 hours if they had a positive test, which they fear may have accelerated the spread among medical staff and patients.

But the hospitals were allowed to make such decisions by the CDC on recalling the healthcare workers back in to work due to the crisis in the local circumstances of New York.

The Biblical prophecies (Matthew 24) describe pestilence as a sign that would indicate the beginning of the end of this age of grace that was called the “beginning of sorrows.”

These events and conditions happening now are warning signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare now for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).

The prophecy has come true, the perilous times are here. The need is greater than ever before.
