Hurricane Lane was a cat 5 super-storm, the strongest storm to ever come that close to Hawaii in recorded history, that no doubt would have brought great devastation. Just that within itself is not normal for Hawaii, since hurricanes rarely approach.
So there was great concern for the people of Hawaii and people that follow this ministry said they were praying as we are sure were many others.
But interestingly before hitting Hawaii, its reported that as this cat 5 super-storm drew near, it just dramatically fell apart. What happened? Why did a cat 5 super-storm just dramatically shrivel up?
Lane’s appearance on satellite imagery deteriorated rapidly from a well-defined Category 5 hurricane to a disheveled tropical storm in very few days. Why did this weakening occur and spare Hawaii from additional severe impacts?
The scientists say that as Lane moved closer to Hawaii, it encountered a huge wall of high wind shear that was very strong and persistent, and it literally tore the super-storm apart as the wind shear attacked Lane’s core; calming the winds and turning its remnants away.
