Over 1,600 Jews Ascend Temple Mount & Pray Mourning Temple Loss

Signs of the Last Days® MinistryNews

More than 1,600 Jews just visited the Temple Mount to mark Tisha B’Av, a day of mourning over their loss of the Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

The increasing large Jewish presence on the Temple Mount comes after Israel has recently been softening its long held position on preventing Jewish prayers at the contested site, the holiest site in Judaism and the third holiest in Islam.

In the past, neither Jews nor Christians were allowed to pray on the Temple Mount as part of an effort to reduce tensions with radical Muslim worshippers visiting the adjacent al-Aqsa Mosque.

There were initially some clashes at the Temple Mount between Israeli police and Muslim worshippers  who were against the Jewish ascent and prayers on this day of Tisha B’Av.

However, Prime Minister Naftali Bennett held security consultations with Internal Security Minister Omer Bar-Lev and Israeli police Chief Kobi Shabtai.

And in an official statement released by the Prime Minister’s Office, Bennett reportedly “instructed that the orderly and safe ascent of Jews to the Temple Mount should continue, while order is maintained at the site.”

Then more than 1,600 Jews ascended the Temple Mount which included some participating in prayer services and others who also sang “Hatikva” on the Temple Mount. Hatikvah is the national anthem of Israel.

The situation concerning the Temple Mount remains tense, as the Islamist terrorist organization Hamas warned that the Jewish state is “playing with fire” by greenlighting Jewish worshippers on the Temple Mount to mark the mourning of the destroyed Jewish temples.

In response to the inflammatory Hamas statements, Gilad Erdan, Israel’s ambassador to the United States and the United Nations, toured Jerusalem’s Old City and vowed that the Jewish state would continue to defend its rights in Jerusalem against the falsehoods promoted by Hamas.

The Biblical Prophecies (Daniel 8, Daniel 9, Matthew 24, Revelation 11) foretell that the end-time will come through the Temple Mount at Jerusalem with events that will signal the nearing end of this age and the coming of Jesus Christ.

These events and conditions happening now are warning signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare now for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).

The prophecy has come true, the perilous times are here. The need is greater than ever before.
