Televangelist media mogul Pat Robertson has now said this week that President-elect Joe Biden won the election and that President Trump “lives in an alternate reality.”

This is after Robertson had predicted in October that President Trump would win re-election saying “I want to say without question, Trump is going to win the election.’’

But since the electoral college has voted with the reported tally being Biden 306 electoral votes to Trump’s 232 votes, and also over 50 something legal cases filed by the Trump campaign have failed, now Robertson has changed his tune.

Robertson was a leading voice of the religious right since the 1980s and had campaigned to become the Republican Party’s nominee in the 1988 presidential election. He had mostly backed Trump previously along with most other prominent evangelical Christian leaders.

Though still praising Trump, yet Robertson said the president’s behavior had been “erratic,” making note of the officials he has fired in the weeks since Election Day.

Robertson also said that “the president still lives in an alternate reality’’ and that “I think it would be well to say, ‘You’ve had your day and it’s time to move on.’’’

Additionally, after conceding that Biden will take office, Robertson said “it would be a mistake” for Trump to run again in 2024. “My money would be on Nikki Haley,” he added. “I think she’d make a tremendous candidate for the Republican Party.”
