The situation in Australia is becoming very dire for thousands of people as the extreme wildfires from the record heat are forcing people to flee to the beaches from towns catching on fire.

Australia’s wildfire crisis continues to intensify as towns across the southeast caught on fire forcing thousands of stranded tourists and locals to seek refuge on beaches.

Thick black smoke billowing from infernos in Victoria and New South Wales states turned the morning sky pitch black or choked the coastline in a haunting red haze.

Fires are so intense they are generating their own weather systems, with dry thunderstorms sparking new blazes. And firefighters killed when fire tornadoes toss their equipment they are using.

And as the columns of fire and smoke punch into the atmosphere up to 14 kilometers high there is lightning coming out of them that is dangerously unpredictable.

About 30,000 people were urged to flee from East Gippsland which is a popular holiday region and thousands did. But then the evacuations were later deemed too dangerous as fires encroached on major roads with authorities telling people it was too late.

About 4,000 people were forced to gather on the beaches or take to boats in the town of Mallacoota overnight and through much of the day as an out-of-control inferno bore down on them.

Buildings in Batemans Bay caught fire as thousands sheltered on the beach and ash rained down on the picturesque beachside town of Merimbula.

While many cities there are canceling fireworks celebrations to bring in the new year, amazingly Sydney is pushing ahead for its harborside festivities because of its global notoriety and drawing in money from tens of thousands of tourists.

But as thousands of people gather along the shore of Sydney harbor their view of the midnight fireworks could be spoiled from the haze of pollution from all the wildfires nearby.

The Biblical Prophecies (Revelation 16) describe how that the sun will come to have such power on the earth that the heat and the fire will burn people.

These events and conditions happening now are signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).

Preparing those Biblically born again into the Kingdom of God to be ready to escape all the things that will come to pass, in the wrath of the tribulation of Revelation prophecy, that comes upon the world of disobedience. As the born again Church is not appointed unto wrath (1 Thessalonians 1:10) but instead to salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ.
