Much of the US West is in a record heatwave and its worst drought in recorded history, with temperatures soaring into the triple digits.

And wildlife experts are saying that with the heat and drought is also coming an invasion of snakes into towns and communities.

Rattlesnakes, in particular, have been seen moving into urban areas in large numbers and snake removal experts are experiencing a boom of business.

A snake removal expert in California, Lem Ramirez, says he has been busier than ever before since opening his business in 1985.

He says that rattlesnakes are becoming more common in the places where we live, work and play. Their appearance has become so commonplace that he warns parents to check for snakes every time their children go outside.

Rattlesnakes are everywhere these days, he says – on front porches, in potted plants, and under children’s play equipment. “I am busier than I have ever been. Complaints are coming in from all over the state.”

Ramirez said he has had some jobs in which he has removed up to 60 snakes.

The rattlesnakes are increasingly being found on porches, in backyards, near pools and under children’s play equipment as they try to escape the extreme heat and drought.

As the serpents move toward people’s towns and communities for shade, water, and food, that is found in more abundance there than in the wild.

Giving people an increase in unwanted houseguests as the snakes are adapting to new behaviors as they seek a better environment for survival.

The Biblical prophecies (Matthew 24, Luke 21, Revelation 16) foretell there will be extreme heat from the sun and that there will come pestilences signaling we are nearing the end of this age and the coming of Jesus Christ.

These events and conditions happening now are warning signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare now for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).
