America’s playgrounds, from the Caribbean Isles to Sin City and now California, are becoming disaster areas from strange events described as unprecedented or never before seen.
The Caribbean Islands, lovely and glorious with their sun, sand and beaches drew people from around the world to lose their worries and inhibitions as they frolic and play.
But after the event of the America only total eclipse, with it’s shadow leaving America into the region of tropical activity in the Atlantic ocean, then they came marching back-to-back, monster mega-storms. Such as never before seen.
The destruction they brought swept across the islands of the Caribbean and devastated places as The Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and others, which became unbelievable disaster zones.
Now the Caribbean Islands are still places like you’ve never seen before, but as disaster areas.
And these are Signs of the Last Days warning of the coming prophecies upon a humankind that “…are lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God.” (2 Timothy 3:4)
Then there’s Las Vegas, often simply called Vegas. It is the internationally renowned major resort city that is the world’s most visited Entertainment Capital of the World.
It’s reputation is known for having everything people could desire, from shopping, fine dining, and nightlife to mega casinos and adult entertainment. All earning it the title of Sin City. Where people came to let loose and play.
But now it’s earned a different title, when its fun-filled nightlife turned into a horror-filled nightmare as America’s sin city playground became known for the greatest massacre in America’s history.
When one person described as “…lovers of money, …without self-control, brutal” (2 Timothy 3:2-3) killed 59 and wounded over 500 in a single incident of out of control violence.
And then there’s lovely, fabled California, the state with golden sun and wonderful climate where people went to make their dreams come true.
A place filled with dreams like that of the popular music group The Beach Boys, describing a beautiful, fun paradise with laid-back, tanned beach-goers living the good life.
And also a place filled with the fantasies of Disney’s world, where there are princesses and heroes whose dreams really come true.
But now that paradise is filled with deadly Apocalyptic firestorms when mysteriously an onslaught of wildfires broke out almost simultaneously.
Then 100 feet high walls of fire swept across California turning the dreams of so many into ashes like the cinders from the fire of Cinderella.
There seems to be a pattern. There could be a message here.
Could it be that one more time, before things really, really do get bad, we are having warning signs?
Saying not “… to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin” for a season; but rather choose “…the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt.” (Hebrews 11:25-26)
The pleasure playgrounds of America are turning into disaster zones. They are Signs of the Last Days, pointing toward the prophecies of the Last Days of this Age.
It’s high time to put a Biblically born again relationship with Jesus Christ as the center of lives and of America.
