A new poll shows that nearly half of America believes that the sweeping pestilence is a “wake-up call” from God according to a new national survey by McLaughlin & Associates, a nationally recognized survey research and strategic services company.

And besides nearly half of the country believing that the coronavirus is a “wake-up call” from God, also one-third see it as the “last days” predicted in the Bible, according to the national survey.

Additionally, one-third said they believe that this crisis indicates that ‘we are living in what the Bible calls the ‘Last Days.”

Those who agreed with the last day’s prediction were said to be:

• 30% of Jewish Americans
• 30% of Democrats
• 39% of Republicans
• 40% of African Americans
• 50% of Hispanics

The survey even noted that along with 40% of Christians, who said the crisis has resulted in more interest in God and spiritual matters, the survey also said that even 22% of self-identified non-Christian respondents also said they have more interest in God and spiritual matters.

The findings of the survey is that many in America think that the virus crisis is a “wake-up call for us to turn back to faith in God” and it is “signs of coming judgment.”

And that’s exactly what Jesus was providing in Matthew chapter 24, when He described pestilence as a sign of the beginning of the end of this age that He called the “beginning of sorrows.”

He was providing the prophecy as a warning or “wake-up call” of what was coming in the near future. And now people have the opportunity to turn to God.

The prophecies in the Holy Bible (Matthew 24, Luke 21) prophesy that pestilence will be signs indicating the nearing end of this age of grace as the tribulation wrath of the Revelation prophecies draw closer.

These events and conditions happening now are signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare now for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).
