The aftermath from a powerful 7.5 magnitude earthquake and 20-foot tsunami that hit the Indonesian capital of Palu in central Sulawesi province sweeping away homes, businesses, churches and mosques, is now becoming more clear.

Officials are now saying that the number dead is not in the hundreds but has went way over a thousand and with the expectation of yet hundreds of more bodies to be found.

Hundreds more are feared trapped in mud as 1,700 homes were ‘swallowed up’ on the island of Sulawesi after tremors turned water-filled soil into mush in a phenomenon known as liquefaction.

The death toll has so rapidly increased that officials for health reasons have prepared a 330 foot long mass grave site for workers to take victims for mass burial.

Meanwhile, many stories, pictures, and videos of the destruction, death, and rescues are coming out.

Such events are a sign reminding of the prophecy of the Great Tribulation when events of trouble will become widespread on a global basis as the world government of mankind fails.

But for now, there is still a time of grace to believe on Jesus Christ and be born again spiritually into the kingdom of God through the Name and Spirit of the Lord, so to be ready to be gathered unto Jesus before the time of wrath comes.
