Israel will be front row to a spectacular and rare celestial spectacle this week. As a blood moon rises over Israel that will be the longest-lasting total lunar eclipse of the 21st century.
The scientists say the full moon on the night of July 27-28, 2018, presents the longest total lunar eclipse of the 21st century, lasting almost 2 hours. And that the greatest eclipse (20:22 UTC) takes place at or around midnight for the Middle East.
So Israel with the rest of the Middle East is the Geo-center of this longest Blood Moon.
And Israel is also the center of much of the Biblical prophecies in the Last Days.
One prophetic reason we assuredly know we are in the Last Days is because of the re-birth of Israel in the 20th century as prophesied thousands of years ago in the 37th chapter of the Book of Ezekiel.
And Israel now is on the cusp of more great prophecy fulfillment as Magog Russia and its Arab allies are at the Northern border of Israel today just as prophesied also by Ezekiel in the very next chapter 38.
The Bible foretells that a Blood Moon can be an omen or sign of major Biblical events in the world. The Hebrew Book of Joel warns that “the sun will turn into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord comes.”
And this omen is also connected into the futuristic apocalyptic Book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ where it says “And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood.”
This is another omen or sign of the soon coming fulfillment of the last day prophecies. And it is happening in a year chock full of heavenly signs. Less than a year ago we had America experience a celestial event of a total solar eclipse in a way it had not happened since the 1776 revolution; Where we had a rare America only total solar eclipse going across the land turning day into darkness.
And then the first of this year in 2018 we had a rare lunar trifecta with a super blue blood moon eclipse on Jan. 31. Where we had a supermoon, a blue moon, and a blood moon converge together for the first time in centuries. And now we are having the longest blood moon. This is another rare heavenly sign, but one in a recent blitz of significant heavenly signs.
A prophecy of Jesus Christ in referring to these Last Days says in Luke the 21st chapter that “… there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity ….” (Luke 21:25)
And its happening like the Bible said.
Could these recent Heavenly signs and now this significant Blood Moon event this week that will linger so long over Israel be a harbinger of events soon to come for Israel and the Middle East?
The signs are telling us we are on the cusp of significant prophetic events.
