A huge impressive and beautiful rainbow appeared over the Temple Mount and the Mount of Olives, as seen from the Jewish neighborhood of Kidmat Zion.
When speaking about the uplifting sight – Yosef Bruce- the director of Midreshet Kidmat Yerushalayim said: “This morning the residents of Kidmat Zion awoke to a beautiful site of a huge inspiring rainbow over the Temple Mount and the mountains of Jerusalem.”
“The rainbow symbolizes the cessation of “the Flood” in days gone by, and on this festive day of Tu B’Shvat may it symbolize the end of the deadly coronavirus, and thus bring back tourists to the alleyways of Jerusalem.”
Midreshet Kidmat Yerushalayim is a non profit organization under the auspices of Ateret Cohanim and is responsible for education, public relations and tours related to the revival of Jewish life in the Old City and its environs.
Kidmat Zion is a fledgling Jewish neighborhood, currently consisting of 10 Jewish families, at the eastern border of municipal Jerusalem, east of the Mount of Olives.
The land for Kidmat Zion was purchased about a century ago by Jewish residents of Jerusalem who wanted a more pastoral and less urban existence, nearby but outside the walls of the Old City.
Yonadav Horowitz took the photo from the balcony of his house in Kidmat Zion, about four kilometers from the Temple Mount, on the holiday of Tu B’Shvat last week.
Horowitz said: “Seeing the rainbow, a sign of God’s covenant with all of mankind, reminded me that God does, of course, keep all of his promises… That is especially true when it comes to his promises to the Jewish people, and even more so when it pertains to Jerusalem.”
The Biblical prophecies (Matthew 24, Luke 21) foretell that Jerusalem and a Jewish Temple will be the focal point of the Last Days prophecies indicating the nearing end of this age.
These events and conditions happening now are warning signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare now for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).
