Its reported that Roman Vatican police raided a drug-fueled gay sex party at a top priest’s apartment.
Its said that the apartment belongs to the Vatican’s Congregation for the Doctrine of Faith, the branch that reviews appeals from clergy found guilty of sexual abuse of minors.
The apartment’s occupant not named by police but serves as a secretary to Cardinal Francesco Coccopalmerio, a personal adviser to Pope Francis.
Its reported police arrested the priest and took him in for questioning presumably on drug charges as gay sex is legal in the Vatican and hospitalized him due to drug intoxication.
This is the latest scandal to hit the Roman Vatican City. Cardinal George Pell was recently charged with child sex abuse and returned to Australia to stand trial.
