Russia today summoned Israel’s Ambassador to Moscow and asked why Israel was expressing support for the “Nazis” in Ukraine.
This was after Israel’s Foreign Minister Yair Lapid issued a clear condemnation of Russia this week calling their invasion of Ukraine “a grave violation of the international order.”
Russia and Putin have repeatedly made the unsubstantiated and questionable claim that its invasion of Ukraine seeks to “de-Nazify” the country.
Vladimir Putin told the world in the lead-up to Russia’s attacks on Ukraine that his operation aims to “denazify” Ukraine, a country with a Jewish president who lost relatives in the Holocaust and who heads a Western-backed, democratically elected government.
The Holocaust, World War II and Nazism have been important tools for Putin in his bid to legitimize Russia’s attacks into Ukraine. But historians are saying that they see the use of the Holocaust in Moscow’s propaganda campaign as disinformation and a cynical ploy to further Putin’s aims.
Now according to reports, Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov has called in and asked Israel’s ambassador why Israel is expressing support for the “Nazis” in Ukraine.
But in a statement, Russia’s foreign ministry said they discussed bilateral ties and that the Russian diplomat expressed hope that Israel would show understanding toward Moscow’s motives for the military campaign.
As they characterized the invasion as an operation to defend Ukrainian separatists in the country’s east and to “demilitarize” Ukraine.
As Russia attacks Ukraine, Israel has tried not to take a stance too closely aligned with either side. Since the Russian military has bases in neighboring Syria on Israel’s northern border.
Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett has avoided condemning Russia or even mentioning the country by name in his statements since Russia launched the widespread military operation across Ukraine’s border.
Russia, which is the territory of the ancient aggressive tribes Gog of Magog north of the Caucasus Mountains at the roof of the world, is exerting the dominion of its Last Days prophetic role foretold in Biblical Prophecy. And it is foretold that they will turn on Israel.
The Biblical prophecies (Ezekiel 38, Ezekiel 39, Matthew 24) foretell of wars and rumors of wars, and that Magog Russia will take military action that ultimately affects Israel in the Last Days signaling we are nearing the end of this age and the coming of Jesus Christ.
These events and conditions happening now are warning signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare now for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).
The prophecy has come true, the perilous times are here. The need is greater than ever before. If each of our viewers would give a donation, no matter the amount, you will help ensure the signs of Biblical prophecy continue to be shared here with the world.
