Trains loaded with large amounts of Russian military hardware, including tanks and other heavy armored vehicles, as well as heavy artillery, are said to be streaming toward the border with Ukraine.

As there are worries that major fighting between Russia and Ukraine may be imminent as a ceasefire is expiring. The immediate concern is that major fighting in Donbass could resume after the ceasefire expires.

There are reports that the scale of these Russian military movements is so large that it has disrupted the movement of other goods via rail, such as agricultural tractors, in the country.

The very visible massing of Russian forces in areas along Ukraine’s borders could simply be intended as a deterrent against any new Ukrainian offensive. But at the same time, it could mean large-scale fighting is about to erupt with the possibility that Russia might seek to change the status quo.

Any outburst of fighting in Ukraine could also apply pressure to the United States.

Russian President Vladimir Putin publicly responded in an unusually angry fashion to remarks U.S. President Joe Biden made in an interview with ABC News’s George Stephanopoulos, where Biden said Putin was a “killer.”

And U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken has reiterated the U.S. government’s support for Ukraine’s “sovereignty and territorial integrity.”

The United States, as well as most of the international community, does not recognize Russia’s occupation of Crimea or “separatist” claims in Donbass.

But Ukraine is not a formal American ally or NATO member. And it’s unclear how willing or able the U.S. government would be to prevent a major attack by Russia into Ukraine.

The Biblical prophecies (Matthew 24, Luke 21, Revelation 6) foretell that there will be wars and rumors of wars signaling the world is nearing the end of this age.

These events and conditions happening now are warning signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare now for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).
