Russia’s envoy to the United Nations threatened Israel over the Golan Heights and Jerusalem just as Russia made its all-out assault on Ukraine.
Russia’s United Nations envoy Dmitry Polyanskiy, said just as Russian President Vladimir Putin launched large-scale attacks across Ukraine, that Russia condemns the Israeli occupation of the Golan Heights and it also does not recognize Israel’s sovereignty over Jerusalem.
He said Russia does not recognize Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights and that they are part of Syria which is an ally of Russia.
At the Security Council, He reminded Israel that Russia stands with Syria, where it is militarily entrenched, regarding Damascus’ demand that Israel returns the Golan to Syria.
Polyanskiy went on to say that Russia was concerned over Tel Aviv’s announced plans for expanding settlement activity in the occupied Golan Heights, which he said contradicts the provisions of the 1949 Geneva Convention.
As he also took issue in his comments with Israel’s sovereignty over Jerusalem, as Moscow only recognizes west Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
Polyanskiy ignored the recognition of Israel’s government in Jerusalem instead using Tel Aviv as a synonym for Israel’s government.
It is a phrase used only by those countries who mean to convey that they do not recognize Israeli sovereignty over its capital city of Jerusalem.
These statements by Russia as they attack Ukraine, followed Israel’s first official statement of support for Ukraine in the crisis.
Where Israel’s Foreign Minister Yair Lapid issued a clear condemnation of Russia this week calling their invasion of Ukraine “a grave violation of the international order.”
Now these statements by Russia’s envoy to the United Nations certainly appear to come as threats by Russia to Israel over the Golan Heights and Jerusalem.
Which Russia’s Mid-East allies as Syria, Iran and Turkey, claim that Israel is an illegal occupier of the Golan and the Holy City. And Russia has significant and growing military bases in Syria near Israel’s northern border of the Golan Heights.
And Russia is now threatening Israel over the Golan Heights and Jerusalem as Russia makes its all-out assault on Ukraine. With Russia saying they stand with their allies, as Syria over the Golan Heights and Iran with Hamas over Jerusalem.
Israel is quickly becoming a next target of Putin as foretold in the Gog of Magog prophecy.
Russia, which is the territory of the ancient aggressive tribes of Gog of Magog north of the Caucasus Mountains at the roof of the world, is exerting the dominion of its Last Days prophetic role foretold in Biblical Prophecy. And it is also foretold that they will turn on Israel.
The Biblical prophecies (Ezekiel 38, Ezekiel 39, Matthew 24) foretell of wars and rumors of wars, and that Magog Russia will take military action that ultimately affects Israel in the Last Days signaling we are nearing the end of this age and the coming of Jesus Christ.
These events and conditions happening now are warning signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare now for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).
