The Russian government announced that they are reconstructing now the ancient temple of the pagan god Ba’al in Palmyra with Syria.
And Jewish traditions and Rabbis have connected the rebuilding of the temple to the demon god as a sign of the Last Days before the arrival of their Messiah.
The Russian Academy of Sciences together with the Syrians signed an agreement to start the project restoring the Arch of Triumph that stood outside of the ancient pagan Temple of Ba’al.
As they provide the funds for rebuilding the Arch of Triumph which will be the third incarnation of the Roman Victory Arch of Palmyra.
The ruins of the ancient city of Palmyra, located about 135 miles northeast of Damascus toward the Euphrates River, is where the pagan temple of Ba’al once stood and was a vital point on the ancient Silk Road caravan route.
Ba’al is mentioned many times in the Holy Bible, most notably when Elijah defeated the priests of Ba’al, also known as Moloch, in a contest to bring down fire from heaven to burn a sacrifice.
In ancient Bible times, Ba’al was the archetypical form of demon idol worship, as followers of Ba’al engaged in sexual orgies and sacrificed human infants burning them alive.
In Jewish tradition, Rabbis are said to have called the third raising of the Arch of Palmyra to be a harbinger of the Messianic era.
Where a Rabbi said that when the Arch would fall and be rebuilt the third time it would hail the nearing arrival of their Messiah.
The ruins of the ancient city of Palmyra, where the arch had stood at the entrance to the temple used to worship Ba’al, were mostly destroyed during the devastating civil war in Syria in which Russia supported Assad’s government.
The Bible prophecies foretell that this area will also be significantly important in the Last Days prophetic events. As there will be demons in this area at the Euphrates River that will instigate end-time world war as described in Revelation 9.
Also the Kings of the East as described in Revelation 16 will come along the rebuilt Silk Road route of China to the Euphrates River at Syria through the deception of the revived Roman Empire Beast leader of satan who will rule in this area of ancient Babylon.
This location was the source of demon activity in ancient times and will again be so in the end-time. And now the Russians with Syria will be rebuilding it, which the Jews are saying is for the third and final time before Messiah.
The Biblical prophecies (Matthew 24, Revelation 9, Revelation 16) foretell that there will be increasing prophetic signs of demonic activity and war signaling the world is nearing the end of this age and the coming of Jesus Christ.
These events and conditions happening now are warning signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare now for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).
