When the mass murderer stormed into the church service in Sutherland, Texas, officials said he was dressed as the Grim Reaper — in black body armor and a skull mask.
He then opened fire with an assault rifle shooting at least 450 rounds killing 26 and wounding 20 more. Witnesses who survived said he walked the church aisles firing and yelling ‘Everybody dies motherf*****!’
Another witness said the shooter went around and shot all the crying babies point blank with his assault rifle.
From the profile officials have now developed from the shooters life, we know he was an atheist filled with hatred and had anger issues with family in-laws that attended this church.
We apologize that this account is profane and graphic, but it provides testimony to the reality of this satanic attack on Christianity in America. And that’s what it was, an attack driven by the evil spirit of hatred against those who worship God.
It is indicative of the increasing spirit of hatred that is enveloping the world as a sign of the last days of evil spiritual activity that Jesus foretold would happen in the Last Days of this age.
In the Signs of the Last Days Revealed by Jesus Christ in Matthew the 24th chapter he foretold that spiritual activity of Satanic evil would increase.
Jesus said that in the last days that many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. And this is the root cause motivating these evil acts of mass murder: people being offended, feeling betrayed, and then having the spirit of hate that produces such violence.
This spirit of hatred with its resulting division and violence is from the growing darkness of satanic evil that’s increasing the spirit of anti-christ in the world.
Have no doubt about it, this was a satanic attack making a frontal assault against Christianity. Jesus said in John 8 that satan was a murderer from the beginning. And again He refers to him in John 10 as the thief who comes only to steal and kill and destroy.
Churches of Christianity must be careful how they respond to this attack.
Already we are reading of churches that are turning to security firms, designating secretly armed personnel for services, or taking other defensive security related measures. Are we to build a security perimeter at our churches?
We are not judging. But the murderer satan desires to kill faith and trust in God. And is turning to preparing armed resistance for violence the approach of Jesus Christ?
Satan wants to steal and destroy our reliance on the Word and Spirit of God. Did the Apostles begin to wear swords to worship after the first martyrs of the Church of Jesus?
Does the Scripture say that its not by God’s Spirit but by might and power of man? Do we wrestle against flesh and blood, and not against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places?
Our belief has been that modern Christianity would be driven back to the belief and demonstration of faith that is read in the Book of the Acts of the Apostles.
This could be a tipping point; and will we learn how to fire a gun or learn the power of Apostolic prayer and faith that overcame the mouths of lions, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, and out of weakness were made strong.
Its something for us all to pray about, and may God’s will be done.
