South Africa: 6.7-Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Near Prince Edward Islands

Signs of the Last Days® MinistryNews

An underwater earthquake with a magnitude of 6.7 on the Richter scale has jolted the Prince Edward Islands south of the coast of South Africa.

The United States Geological Survey observed the underwater earthquake with a magnitude of 6.7 on the Richter scale near the Prince Edward Islands, located at 43.078°S, 42.226°E, at 22:01 (local time) on January 22.

The earthquake was recorded at a depth of 10 km (6.2 mi) and the Joint Australian Tsunami Warning Center has not issued any tsunami alert as of 22:30. But warn that aftershocks are possible in the coming hours and days.

Individuals in coastal South Africa are advised to monitor the situation and adhere to any advice or instructions issued by the local authorities.

This region is on the edge of the South Atlantic Anomaly which stretches to Zimbabwe.

This is where researchers say a mysterious anomaly under Africa is weakening the earth’s magnetic field with something unusual happening to the core-mantel boundary under Africa.

The Biblical prophecies foretell that earthquakes are a sign of the Last Days at the end of this age.
