In an interview, six-time Super Bowl winner Tom Brady was asked if he had any rituals or superstitions that he used to help him win.

He said that he relied on the rituals performed by his Brazilian wife, Gisele Bundchen, who calls herself a “good witch.” They were married in 2009 in a Roman Catholic ceremony.

They have both been wildly successful as a power couple: Bundchen as a supermodel, and Brady as the winningest NFL Superbowl quarterback of all-time.

Brady said that his wife prepared an “altar” for him before his games, saying “she always makes a little altar for me at the game because she just wills it so much.”

“I have these little special stones, healing stones, protection stones and she has me wear a necklace, take these drops she makes, say all these mantras,” Brady told the interviewer.

“At first I was, ‘This was kind of crazy,’ but about four years ago, we were playing the Seahawks, and she said, ‘You better listen to me, this is your year, but this is all the things you’re going to have to do to win and I did all those things and my God, it worked.”

Brady says he also turns to her for predictions about the upcoming seasons. “I listen to her. Right after the game, she said, ‘See I did a lot of work. You do your work, I do mine!’”

Bundchen also predicted that 2015 would not be Brady’s year, he remembered, and sure enough that season for the Patriots ended disappointingly in the AFC Championship Game.

But early this season, Brady asked if he had a chance to win it all and he got the answer he was seeking. “She said, ‘yeah, but you’re going to have to do a lot of work and you’re really going to have to listen to me. So man, I listen to her,” Brady said. And Bundchen was right again.

Brady recounted how his wife said to him; “She said, ‘You’re lucky you married a witch, I’m just a good witch!’”

However, sorcery is condemned as a work and wisdom of the flesh that is spiritual wickedness in the Last Days at the end of this age (James 3, Revelation 21, 22).
