Surprise Asteroid, One Of Biggest Ever, Just Missed Earth – Foreshadowing Prophecy

Signs of the Last Days® MinistryGeneral

No one saw it. No one knew it was coming. An asteroid larger than a football field just swept past our Earth that was closer than our moon and no one knew about it until it had already passed.

The asteroid, now known as 2020LD, was discovered this month just two days after it whizzed between the Earth and the moon according to NASA data.

The asteroid was detected by a telescope in Hawaii, the Asteroid Terrestrial-impact Last Alert System (ATLAS), and followed its trajectory to figure out where it was going and where it came from.

The analysis revealed that ATLAS, a NASA-funded project that specifically looks out for asteroids, completely missed this one, when it passed by Earth traveling at 60,826 miles per hour. And passed by close, closer than our moon.

And at 400 feet wide, 2020LD ranks as one of the biggest asteroids ever to fly this close to Earth without being previously detected.

The asteroid was the largest to pass near planet earth in many years, and it would have been big and fast enough to have delivered a nuclear-sized explosion if it had hit Earth according to scientists.

The unseen Asteroid 2020LD was big enough to have caused considerable damage to earth if it were to have hit us.

As a comparison, the space rock that caused Meteor Crater near Flagstaff, Arizona, is estimated to have been about 150 feet in diameter.

And the asteroid over Chelyabinsk, Russia, on February 15, 2013, whose shock-wave damaged buildings in six Russian cities causing some 1,500 people to seek medical attention, was an estimated 66 feet in diameter.

This time, as we were oblivious and going about our day, we were fortunate to have been missed by this unseen-400-feet-wide potential catastrophe that whizzed by close to earth.

But it foreshadows a future Revelation Prophecy. Where the Revelation 8 prophecy describes an asteroid the size of a great mountain hitting the earth in the sea, with its shock-wave doing massive damage on earth.

The great mountains of earth such as Everest and K2 run from 26,000 to 29,000 feet. It seems an asteroid this size approaching earth could not be missed.

But given the inordinate amount of consecutive catastrophes happening in our solar system affecting earth at that time, including meteor storms followed by massive fire on earth afterwards, and with humanity trying to protect themselves in caves of mountains from the calamities, perhaps even that prophetic asteroid will not be noticed early.

But we know its coming.

The Biblical prophecies (Matthew 24, Luke 21, Revelation 6, Revelation 8) foretell that in the Last Days there will be signs in the heavens indicating the nearing end of this age and then a Biblical cataclysm is coming to our solar system.

These events and conditions happening now are warning signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare now for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).

The prophecy has come true, the perilous times are here. The need is greater than ever before. If each of our viewers would give a donation, no matter the amount, you will help ensure the signs of Biblical prophecy continue to be shared here with the world.
