Assad’s Syrian government continues to strike deals to transport rebels and their families from areas besieged by government forces relocating them to opposition held areas.
These deals amount to illicit forced population transfers and deliberate demographic changes forced upon the population.
They also serve to group opposition forces into limited areas which in turn can become kill zones for Assad’s Syrian government making it easier for them and their Russian and Iranian allies to attack.
