The signs are that America is being hit hard by the pestilence of coronavirus that is spreading like a wildfire infestation across cities and states. The drumbeat of increasingly bad coronavirus news in the media is relentless now.

But there is a Divine remedy given in the prophecies of the Holy Scriptures of the Bible which is described as a way to heal a land of pestilence.

It comes from the Biblical Chronicles of a man known in history once as the wisest, his name was Solomon.

The responsibility fell upon the shoulders of Solomon, as the son of King David, to build the first Holy Temple of the Lord God upon the earth. And he did well, being the wise man he was at the time.

For upon completing the construction and after Solomon prayed the prayer of dedication to the Lord, the Scriptures describe how that when Solomon had finished praying, fire came down from heaven.

The fire fell upon the sacrifices there, and then the glory of the Lord filled the temple that had been built. So much so that the priests could not enter into it.

And then it was later that the Divine Secret was given, when the Lord came to Solomon in the night.

And told Solomon that if it came to where there is no rain, or the locusts devour the land, or there is pestilence among the people, that there was something that could be done with the Lord for the situation.

And that if this remedy was done, then the pestilence could be driven out from the land.

The Divine Secret the Lord God gave to Solomon for pestilence is that “if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14 of Holy Bible)

This is the precise method of treatment that the Lord God prescribed for a land suffering from pestilence: that of humbling, persistent prayer, and turning from wickedness which can bring Divine attention, forgiveness, and healing of their land.

Our leaders in America’s government have now been quick and well to create and pass a 2 trillion dollar economic package to help Americans as jobs are lost and financial markets crash from the pandemic of pestilence. A quick and decisive attention to mammon.

But people are still dying.

Could they not also call a day(s) of prayer? Where the chambers of the Congress and Senate are turned into prayer rooms? And where the Holy Scriptures of the Bible are read before the Lord which this country was founded upon?

Where the leaders of the people get down and humble themselves before God and pray, as our founding Father’s did, asking for wisdom, and also forgiveness for the ways of the country in seeking first mammon and wickedness instead of the way of the Lord in His Holy Scriptures and Holy Spirit.

Just imagine what could happen.

After getting the attention of the Divine, bringing the forgiveness of the Lord, with the wings of healing across the land helping to rid it of this most unusual of pestilences.

Oh Lord! … help our leaders in every area and group to also become as wise as Solomon then in the Biblical Chronicles. So that they come to realize and do your Divine remedy that can bring healing to our land and people.
