The Prophecies of Jesus in the Holy Bible said that pestilence would be a sign of the beginning of the end of this age which Jesus called the “beginning of sorrows.” And pestilence is here in this new and unusual coronavirus.

And according to a new national survey, nearly half of America believes that the sweeping pestilence is a “wake-up call” from God. Now the big question is, will America turn to God in this trying time?

There are promising signs.

Where in all of the places, we found on Yahoo! Lifestyle in their main feed, an article titled ” 20 Calming Bible Verses About Patience To Help You Get Through the Day.”

And they also even had links in that one to other articles like “Bible verses about hope” and “Bible verses about healing” they said would help to “face the day’s trials.”

Bear in mind this is from a news & media website on life style, beauty, and wellness — it is far, far from being any kind of religious website.

A promising sign indeed. This means that secular, worldly minds are turning toward the Holy Scriptures of the Bible in this trying time.

It lends credence to the finding of the survey that many in the country think the virus crisis is a “wake-up call for us to turn back to faith in God” and “signs of coming judgment.”

And that’s exactly what Jesus was saying and providing in Matthew chapter 24, when He described pestilence as a sign of the end of this age. He provided it as a warning or “wake-up call”  of what was coming in the future so people could turn to God Biblically.

The silver lining in this dark cloud of pestilence is that it has stopped people in their busy lives as they look squarely into the face of a Biblical prophecy event, and now many are considering what is happening and turning to the Bible.

Another promising sign of America turning to God is how a basketball sports star in the NBA, shared how his mother is in a coma with Covid-19, but at the end of his post said he was “praying for all of us at this difficult time.”

And there are signs also among the doctors and nurses who are the heroes on the front-lines working to help heal the sick and in the ground-swell of support for them.

At a hospital in Georgia people drove around it encircling it in their vehicles and then prayed for the safety of the men and women working inside, raising their hands in prayer to God for mercy and grace to be present.

And something similar has happened at other hospitals as well like at a medical center in Alabama where vehicles also  parked around it as people prayed for God’s protection for all those affected by the coronavirus.

But prayers aren’t just taking place outside of hospitals, they’re also happening inside them too. Where multiple social media have shown medical workers in their personal protective equipment joining together to pray to God.

Where dressed in their gowns and masks inside the hospitals they have prayed together for each other and their patients asking for God’s help during this challenging time.

And as the signs of pestilence are in our land, there are also signs people are remembering the Bible says, that if we will humble ourselves and pray to God, He “will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)

These events and conditions happening now are signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare now for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).

The prophecy has come true, the perilous times are here. The need is greater than ever before.
