“Not my President, not today,” is what protesters across the nation yelled as thousands marched from Los Angeles to New York.
As many as 5,000 people were at a protest in New York, police estimated, where the issues being yelled about outside Trump Tower were about controversial topics from the campaign.
The protests were in several cities across the U.S. — in Atlanta; Austin, Texas; Boston; Chicago; Denver; Philadelphia; Portland, Oregon; San Francisco, Seattle and Washington; with the protests including flag and effigy burning.
