Trump Appears To Say U.S. Leaving Middle East

Signs of the Last Days® MinistryNews

U.S. President Trump lashed out over sharp criticism of his decision to pull back U.S. troops from northeastern Syria as Turkey then invaded and attacked the Kurds, a long-time US ally.

Trump said in a series of tweets that “Fighting between various groups that has been going on for hundreds of years. USA should never have been in Middle East, … The stupid endless wars, for us, are ending!”

Turkey launched its offensive against Kurdish fighters in Syria, who have helped the U.S. against the Islamic State. Turkey views the Syrian Kurdish fighters as terrorists, and Trump’s decision to pull back U.S. troops leaves them vulnerable to the military onslaught.

Trump’s words are at odds with longstanding U.S. policy of keeping thousands of American troops in the strategically important region, and his decision is being condemned by some of his staunchest Republican allies.

Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., a close Trump ally, stepped up his criticism of the president, telling “Fox & Friends” that if Trump “follows through with this, it would be the biggest mistake of his presidency.”

Trump argued on Twitter that “GOING INTO THE MIDDLE EAST IS THE WORST DECISION EVER MADE IN THE HISTORY OF OUR COUNTRY!” He said the U.S. went to war under a “now dis-proven premise, WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION. There were NONE!”

Trump’s apparent call for ending U.S. military involvement in the Middle East and bringing US troops home flies in the face of many decades of bipartisan American policy. And many officials and analysts think the move will only embolden Iran and endanger Israel.

These events and conditions happening now are signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).

Preparing those Biblically born again into the Kingdom of God to be ready to escape all the things that will come to pass, in the wrath of the tribulation of Revelation prophecy, that comes upon the world of disobedience. As the born again Church is not appointed unto wrath (1 Thessalonians 1:10) but instead to salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ.
