US President Trump in an interview with Fox News said that by Easter he wanted to see packed churches all over the country as he offered the holiday as a deadline because “Easter’s a very special day for me.”
The President also said he wants the U.S. economy to open back up by Easter Sunday, which is April 12, less than three weeks away.
His remarks in a Fox News “virtual town hall” event at the White House came as more states are imposing measures to try to slow the spread of the disease.
Trump said “We’re opening up this incredible country. Because we have to do that. I would love to have it open by Easter.”
“Wouldn’t it be great to have all the churches full?” Trump asked. “You’ll have packed churches all over our country … I think it’ll be a beautiful time.”
He also again compared the coronavirus to more common dangers, such as flu and car accidents, as he said “We lose thousands and thousands of people a year to the flu. We don’t turn the country off.”
Trump now wants to have the economy “reopen” and allow businesses to “return to work.”
But Governors of US states and leaders of other countries have been currently taking further measures to try and stop the coronavirus pandemic spread. For example India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi, just announced a “total lockdown” for the country of 1.3 billion people.
The prophecies in the Holy Bible (Matthew 24, Luke 21) prophesy that pestilence will be a sign indicating the nearing end of this age of grace as the tribulation wrath of the Revelation prophecies draw closer.
These events and conditions happening now are signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare now for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).
