While holding photographs of dead Syrian children after a chemical bomb attack, the U.S. ambassador to the U.N. gave an ominous warning that her country might take unilateral action if the Security Council failed to respond to the latest atrocity in the Syria war. The attack on a northern Syrian town has incited widespread condemnation.
The ambassador, Nikki Haley, also used her remarks at an emergency session to blame Russia for being culpable as well for supporting and protecting the Assad regime.
Ms. Haley said, “Time and time again, Russia uses the same false narrative to deflect attention from their allies in Damascus,… How many more children have to die before Russia cares?”
She closed her remarks with an ominous warning. “When the United Nations consistently fails in its duty to act collectively, there are times in the life of states that we are compelled to take our own action,” she said.
The Prophecy of the Revelation of Jesus Christ foretells in Chapter 9 that demons of war are released at the Euphrates River which is also in Syria. These will propagate such atrocities that the nations of the world will be drawn into this turmoil until it escalates affecting all of mankind.
