U.S. officials have been exploring deployment of the National Guard to help address the nation’s mounting supply chain backlog that has resulted in empty store shelves across America that started with the pandemic of pestilence.
As America’s overwhelmed supply chain has sparked outside-the-box proposals to leverage government resources to address the issues.
Photos and videos from people on social media have shown empty shelves across the United States amid growing evidence of food and other merchandise shortages.
As people say they’ve never seen empty shelves like this in their lifetime as the global supply chain has been disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
And the government has started taking emergency measures with the country’s two busiest ports — Los Angeles and Long Beach — expanding them to around-the-clock operations working 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to unload containers waiting on cargo ships.
And as fears of food and merchandise shortages loom, deployment of the National Guard has also been an option that is being considered.
But major questions remain unresolved as to exactly how the National Guard could be deployed given the extent of the logistical challenges.
Some states have previously been using the National Guard already to help get food to empty store shelves.
The National Guard in Arizona was used to get food to stores and restock empty shelves with guardsmen working on the back loading docks behind the stores. And also doing transport on the highways with army trucks rolling down freeways from warehouses to stores.
The Biblical prophecies (Matthew 24, Luke 21, Revelation 6) foretell that there will be pestilence and famine in the prophetic Last Days signaling the world is nearing the end of this age and the coming of Jesus Christ.
These events and conditions happening now are warning signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare now for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).
