US President Trump is again surging US military forces, including hundreds of medics, to the Middle East at Persia Iran. As Trump for now gives up on diplomatic negotiations.
As he is going back to his military plan A. Where by making a significant military blow to Iran, he plans to then have the leverage to force Iran into negotiations for a deal.
That could help to reopen the Strait of Hormuz to regular shipping navigation and provide an off-ramp from the conflict.
But Trumps military surge now, that includes hundreds of military medics, is a sign that this escalation could possibly include some form of US military forces on the ground that could incur significant US casualties.
And there is the risk that the escalations can serve as gasoline on the fire. Where this Mid-East war could spread again but more intensely across the Middle East and toward the West. As it did before reaching the very gates of the West at Cypress and Greece.
