Today, America will experience a celestial event of a total solar eclipse in a way it hasn’t exactly happened since the 1776 revolution. Such an event is created only by God and is a sign from the heavens.
It is a direct warning to the nation of America that God is in control and that man’s government is not, and they should reverence and turn to Him and follow His Holy Scriptures.
Such wonders of nature largely were feared in ancient civilizations, and considered as heavenly signs that were integrated in a divine way with events in the civilizations of humankind.
The Holy Scriptures provide clear examples of this:
When the people of Israel were slaves in Egypt, a prophet named Moses showed up saying God was about to deliver them from Pharaoh’s oppression. A sign that God chose that the exodus was soon to happen was that the sun was obscured wrapping Egypt in darkness. Showing the Egyptians that their sun god was not the One True God, and that they should listen to Him.
It was a celestial event known as the Star of Bethlehem that was a sign of the birth of Jesus Christ, the Messiah from God, and that led the Scriptural savvy Magi or wise men to Jesus for worship.
Even history shows how celestial events were considered heavenly signs integrated with events coming in the civilizations of humankind:
In 763 B.C., the Assyrian empire, which occupied what is now Iraq, the sun was completely eclipsed for 5 minutes. Early records from the period mention the eclipse in the same passage as an insurrection in the city of Ashur, now known as Qal’at Sherqat in Iraq, suggesting that the ancient people linked the two in their minds.
Western historians of the Christian gospels were it says the sky was darkened after the crucifixion of Jesus, view it as a miracle and a sign of the significance of His death. Later historians used astronomy to pinpoint the death of Christ based on this eclipse mention with them tying the crucifixion to a total solar eclipse.
The last time a total solar eclipse was visible across the United States was a century ago during the 1918 eclipse. And this became a time of trouble when a global pandemic called Spanish Flu swept across the world killing millions.
When King Henry I of England, the son of William the Conqueror, died in A.D. 1133, the event coincided with a total solar eclipse that lasted 4 minutes and 38 seconds. In the manuscript “Historia Novella,” William of Malmesbury recounts that the “hideous darkness” agitated the hearts of men. After the death, a struggle for the throne threw the kingdom into chaos and civil war.
The year that America declared its independence is the last time a total solar eclipse occurred only over the United States and in no other country, just as it is about to do today on August 21, — And 1776 marked America going into a Revolutionary War.
Jesus Christ in His prophecies was very clear that celestial events would be Signs of the Last Days:
Jesus Christ in the Scriptures prophesied that there will be Signs of the Last Days that would be celestial signs that would mark events in humankind that affected them. The Lord said in Luke 21:25 : “… And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity ….”(Luke 21:25)
Here Jesus was specifically tying in signs of the sun, moon, and stars with events that would cause distress and perplexity in the nations of the world in the Last Days. This showing how celestial events should be considered heavenly signs warning of events coming in the civilizations of humankind and that they should turn to God for His help.
America is receiving a rare warning to turn to God.
Today, on August 21, 2017, America is receiving a rare America only total solar eclipse going across the land turning day into darkness.
But after today, in only 7 years, America is having an extreme rare event with a second America only total solar eclipse again going across the country with the two eclipses marking an “X” onto the heartland of America.
It’s interesting to note that the “X” marked onto America is near the New Madrid fault zone which is six times larger than the San Andreas fault zone in California. A great American earthquake striking right down the middle of the country just as these total solar eclipses darkening the heartland could symbolize an America that is divided and also separated from its God.
Could it be that the next 7 years is being marked as a time of trouble for a country that has rejected the teachings of the Holy Scriptures turning its back on the God that made it great?
Pray for America, that she will have revival and repent turning back to God; finding Jesus Christ, the Son of God, in His born-again salvation He described that would make us subjects of the eternal Kingdom of God coming soon onto the earth, a peace with no end.
If she does not, the Biblical signs are already present in her society and government, and yes – also in the heavens, indicating that a reaping of trouble is coming.
