Cities of the United States are under attack as the City of New Orleans has declared an emergency and US Homeland warns that cities, towns, hospitals, across the US, are under cyber-attack in a cyber-war.

The City of New Orleans has declared a state of emergency after it was just attacked by a virus in a cyber attack that forced the shutdown of all government computers. As all employees in all departments were immediately told to power down all computers, unplug devices & disconnect from WiFi.

Information has been scarce on this while the investigation, involving city, state and federal agencies continues, and New Orleans begins the recovery process.

But this attack reported in New Orleans, follows another one that targeted the State of Louisiana in November where computers were taken offline, and a state of emergency also declared then. And before that, 23 government agencies were reportedly taken offline by a cyber-attack on the State of Texas.

Specialists started today in New Orleans going computer by computer checking for infiltration from the cyber-attack on the New Orleans government. Where the system engineers have more than 4,000 computers to go through before city operations can return to normal, which could take weeks.

And the city’s Chief Administrative Officer has said the cost of rebuilding the city’s computer network will approach millions of dollars.

The US Department of Homeland Security has been warning that cities and towns across the US are under attack being hit with malware that is “among the most costly and destructive.” Where US towns have even paid millions of dollars in expenses to recover and also to pay ransoms to get their data and systems back.

Cyber-warfare is one of the newest frontiers of war for nations and their proxies. Where U.S.  Intelligence agencies say that cyber-espionage and information-warfare has been done by hacker groups with names like “the Dukes” and “Fancy Bears.”

Who were cyber-espionage teams linked to the Russian government who also provided them with deniability. But there are nation-state cyber-attack groups as well in countries like Iran and North Korea who have also conducted attacks.

And not only have towns and cities been attacked but even the computer systems and email systems of the White House, the State Department, and even the Joint Chiefs of Staff, one of the government’s best-protected networks, have also been pierced by cyber-attacks.

It’s a serious situation for US cities just as in New Orleans. In one instance a Florida city agreed to pay a ransom of $600,000 worth of bitcoin to hackers who took control of its computer systems affecting Riviera Beach’s services, including email and 911 emergency dispatches. And then the city council also spent another $1 million on new computers after the attack.

And the City of Baltimore was another victim where hackers had demanded a $76,000 ransom which the city refused to pay. But they have still payed an awful price as they have spent more than $18 million in expenses to try to recover.

Also hospitals have been attacked where three hospitals of the DCH Health System in Alabama was hit with a cyber-attack. The hospitals had to stop the admissions of patients sending them away to other hospitals.

And cyber-war is world-wide, as in another situation in Australia, where seven hospitals were infected with malware. As they said scheduled treatments and surgeries had to be canceled as patient information become unavailable due to the attacks.

Cyber-warfare has become the new fearsome arena of war where there are no limits defined, no treaties, and no recognized boundaries.

Cyber conflict is the modern technological version of the Wild West where attacks are indiscriminately happening now as nations and bad individual actors are firing off viruses and bots to where catastrophes and wars are getting dangerously easy to begin with just a bit of computer code.

And some experts believe what is happening now is a harbinger of a cyber attack coming so catastrophic to where people and society are deeply impacted with lives at risk.

Because now there’s the technology and temperament of aggression in the world for a successful cyber-attack on critical infrastructure that can do as much damage as a natural disaster, bringing a whole country to a standstill.

The Biblical prophecies of Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 24 foretell that in the Last Days nation will rise against nation and there will be wars and rumors of wars. And for this modern prophetic age the Daniel 12 prophecy foretold to seal the book until the time of the end when knowledge shall increase.

And knowledge has increased with advanced technological weapons of war that no doubt can help advance the wars of Revelation prophecies to their full Biblical realization.

Where there will be war so advanced unleashed upon the earth (Revelation 9) that it kills a third of mankind, that’s 1 in 3 of every human being, killing not just millions but billions of people.

And the Signs of Last Days’ war could be coming to a computer network near you.

These events and conditions happening now are signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).

Preparing those Biblically born again into the Kingdom of God to be ready to escape all the things that will come to pass, in the wrath of the tribulation of Revelation prophecy, that comes upon the world of disobedience. As the born again Church is not appointed unto wrath (1 Thessalonians 1:10) but instead to salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ.
