The Black Sea is now a focal point for contention between NATO and Russia as both of them are sending more warships there in rising tensions over the buildup of Russian forces at Ukraine and Crimea.

And there are known to be frequent encounters between ships and aircraft from both sides in the Black Sea.

Russia has raised concerns over what it says is increasing Black Sea naval activity by powers that did not have a coastline in the region.

Saying that the number of visits by NATO countries and the length of the stay of (their) warships have increased.

Also, Russia’s Defense Ministry said that it was moving more than 10 navy vessels — including landing boats and artillery warships — from the Caspian Sea to the Black Sea.

And Russian warships in the Black Sea have been conducting artillery firings at land and sea targets.

Washington says that Russia has amassed more troops on Ukraine’s eastern border than at any time since 2014, when it invaded Crimea and Ukraine.

The United States announced it was sending warships into the Black Sea amid the Russian build up of military forces along the border with Ukraine.

And Russia has called the United States an adversary and warned U.S. warships to stay well away from Crimea calling their deployment into the Black Sea a provocation against Russia.

The Biblical prophecies (Matthew 24, Luke 21) foretell that there will be wars and rumors of wars signaling the world is nearing the end of this age.
