Around the world 40 volcanoes are erupting now. Reports are surfacing of earthquake swarms happening under volcanoes as Mount St. Helens, Mount Hood, and Mount Rainer as they recharge their magma chambers. At Yellowstone, which is a super-volcano caldera at Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming, there are reports of witnesses stating increasingly strange seismic activity. One witness reported that it appeared to be as bright as day even though middle of the night with a host of geysers steaming violently. Another said that a place at the Shoshone River near Yellowstone National Park had started boiling with changed color and emitting odors.
All over the world seismic activity is increasing. In recent weeks we have seen dramatic earthquakes in Japan, Ecuador, Vanuatu, Sumatra, Chile, Alaska, Mexico, and the list goes on. In fact, the USGS reports nearly 40 significant earthquakes from 4.0 to 9.0 thus far in 2016. Some seismologists think this recent increased seismic activity in the world of increasing magnitude is due to build-up of centuries of accumulated tectonic strain that will lead to future catastrophes.
It has been stated that Mt. Rainier is a “time bomb”, and one of the most dangerous volcanoes in the world because it sits so close to Seattle, Tacoma and other major cities along the coast of Washington state. In the event of a full-blown eruption, countless numbers of people would literally be buried alive in a tsunami of super-heated mud that could move at speeds of up to 50 miles per hour.
A volcano warning at Mt. Hood is reported since fears are mounting a massive volcanic eruption could be on its way after a swarm of 62 earthquakes were recorded at one of America’s biggest mountains. The series of tremors continued for 24 hours and that many in such a short time period is extremely rare and could be a sign of a coming eruption. A Portland State University geology professor told KATU News: “If you get swarms under a working volcano, the working hypothesis is that magma is moving up underneath there.”
Scientists say an eruption of the Yellowstone super-volcano would destroy Salt Lake City and anyone outside in Denver would probably die quickly. And a layer of volcanic ash at least 10 feet deep in places would fall on everything for up to a 1,000 miles. Food production in America could be decimated as a volcanic covering affects agriculture for an extended period of time.
According to the European Science Foundations report, named Extreme Geo-Hazards, a major eruption at any of the worlds significant volcanoes could do more damage than human activity and global warming could do in more than a 1,000 years. They further state this is compounded by nations not having contingency plans for a major volcanic eruption as there are say for hurricanes.
Scientists say that we are living on borrowed time. The Ring of Fire is shaking and boiling and scientists tell us that tension has been building up along the San Andreas fault and the Cascadia Subduction Zone for decades, and they assure us that it is only a matter of time before we see major events with truly historic volcanic eruptions and earthquakes.
Increasing seismic activity realized in volcanoes and earthquakes are Signs of the Last Days™.
In the Holy Scripture, Nahum 1:5 says, ““The mountains quake before Him, and the hills melt” telling us that not only does the earth tremble and quake at God’s presence, but volcanoes erupt as well. And Revelation 6:12 “And I beheld when He had opened the Sixth Seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood.”
Jesus Christ of Nazareth described the end of the age in Matthew 24, “…of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.” Volcanoes with their eruptions of volcanic ash clouds and burning rocks falling 100’s of miles away along with associated earthquakes are certain contributors to fulfilling the end-time prophecies.
The prophetic red line has been crossed and we have transitioned into the Signs of the Last Days™. The signs of the shaking of creation in the last days has begun.
