Wall Street Having Biggest December Decline In Stock Market Since Great Depression

Signs of the Last Days® MinistryNews

The stock market has went into a slide that is shaping up as the worst December on Wall Street since the depths of the Great Depression.

Stocks usually end the year with a flourish, and December is usually the best month of the year for the market. But this month has been dismal.

Without some kind a decent rally, this could be the worst December since 1931 with prices dragged down by rising fears of a recession somewhere on the horizon.

As U.S. stocks plunged this month the S&P 500 entered a bear market with volatility in trading as the markets responded to turmoil in Washington.

President Trump has been attacking the Federal Reserve leadership tweeting that the central bank is “the only problem” with the U.S. economy.

And there are multiple reports saying President Donald Trump is discussing how to remove Jerome Powell from his position as chairman of the Federal Reserve.

One report said that President Trump was discussing the possibility of firing Powell, a move that could undermine confidence in the U.S. financial system.
