The Waqf (the Jordan-based Muslim organization that administers the Temple Mount) has protested that Israel had completely superseded its control over the Temple Mount.
Muslim anger is mounting following Israel’s closure of the holy site in the wake of a brazen Muslim assault on Israeli police at the Temple Mount. Israel closed the religious compound for the first time since 1969, saying it was for security purposes.
This is a dangerous flash point for the Middle-East and are Signs of the Last Days prophecies which foretell many Last Day events around this Jerusalem Holy Site.
