It’s now been reported that the world’s hottest rain ever fell from the sky when in Imperial, California at 119 degrees it rained prompting the hottest ever rainfall.

One local resident said the rain was so hot that it felt hard on their heart and “made it difficult to breathe.”

And also Death Valley  hit 127°,  Palm Springs hit 122°, and Imperial, California topped out at 121° that day.

Experts said rain at temperatures above 100 degrees is rare because heat at that level is usually “accompanied by a high pressure system with sinking air, which discourages clouds and rainfall.”

The new world record for the hottest rain also got the attention of global weather experts who said it was another sign that the Earth is getting hotter.
