The American Psychological Association’s eleventh stress in America survey found that almost two-thirds of Americans report being stressed about the future of the nation.
Also, two-thirds say this is the lowest point in U.S. history—and it’s keeping a lot of them up at night.
The “current social divisiveness” in America was reported by those surveyed as a cause of their own malaise.
A majority of the Americans polled said “they consider this to to be the lowest point in our nation’s history that they can remember.”
The study points out the “acrimony in the public discourse” and “the general feeling that we are divided as a country.”
The prophecies in Matthew 24 and Luke 21 foretell that division and stress in society will rise as Signs of the Last Days. And to such a level that nations of the earth will be distressed and men’s hearts failing them from fear over the expectation of the things coming upon the earth indicating the end of the age.
But for those Scripturally born-again into the Kingdom of God as Jesus and His Apostle Peter instructed (John 3/Acts 2), the Holy Spirit of peace is shed abroad in our souls guarding our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus until He appears to take us.
