The U.S. has built military bases now in Northern and Southern Syria positioning for coming battlefield showdowns.
As described in the prophecy study, Signs of the Last Days Revealed Part 1, countries are moving deeper into Syria for Last Days conflict as prophesied.
While purposely keeping it off the media radar as much as possible, the U.S. has been rapidly moving into Syria from the north and the south.
However, Syrian and Russian forces along with Iranian-allied militias have responded, especially in the south since US ground troops are forward-deployed there, by rushing in forces to position opposite US troops.
In readiness for prospective showdowns for control of southern Syria, US Special Forces have set up a forward base at Al-Zukf in the Syrian Desert about 70km northwest of the Syrian-Iraqi-Jordanian border triangle.
Since pacifying Aleppo and gaining the upper hand in Northwest Syria, there is now a convergence of Syrian and Iranian forces supported by Russian Special Forces and air power into the south close to Daraa near the Golan at Israel, and projecting out into the Syrian Desert toward the Syrian-Iraqi-Jordanian border at the US position.
Its reported the overriding goal of the US advance base is to thwart Syrian and pro-Iranian forces from gaining control of the Syrian-Iraqi border which would open up Iran’s coveted direct land access to the Mediterranean through Iraq.
But the US has also taken and expanded an air base in northern Syria for use in the fight to retake the city of Raqqa from Islamic State.
The US base is near Kobani, which is about 90 miles north of Raqqa, the stronghold for ISIS in Syria. It gives the United States a close location within Syria from which to launch aircraft to support U.S. and other anti-ISIS forces in the campaign to recapture the city.
US advance groups have modified and expanded the airstrip at Kobani making it more versatile so the US military can fly in aircraft, supplies, equipment and forces.
As the prophecy study describes, all of this are signs of the prophecies in Revelation and Ezekiel foretelling events in the Last Days.
Describing how the countries of the world will be drawn into close proximity in this area until there is a build-up and actions that trigger tragic consequences in Middle-East war of Biblical proportions in the Last Days.
Events that are directly-linked to the prophecies are becoming more widespread and accelerating with increasing velocity.
