It was revealed the British security services have foiled an alleged plot by Islamist terrorists to assassinate Britain’s Prime Minister in Downing Street.
An Islamic terrorist planned to use an improvised explosive device to blow up the gates of Downing Street before entering No 10 and making an attempt on Theresa May’s life.
The two men were allegedly plotting to use a bomb disguised as a bag to blow off the gates of Downing Street and then attack May with knives.
Two men have been charged with terror offenses and are due to appear in Westminster magistrates’ court. Details of the alleged terror plot were reported to Britain’s Cabinet members in a briefing by Andrew Parker, the head of MI5.
