Today, people already talk to artificial intelligence in their homes as Alexa, Siri or Google Assistant, or use artificial intelligence embedded in cars or refrigerators.
Scientists and others who predict what the future holds (futurists) have even planned, for the future, to name this artificial intelligence (AI), “Singularity”, when it is no longer just the product of man, but has complete control over itself.
Humans are already being blended with machines not only in their outward life but also internally as well; with the blending of human biology with digital and mechanical technology. Microchips are implanted and hearts are replace with those artificial.
And Robots are increasingly replacing human functions. Today there are killer robots, digital doctors, and driverless cars. Showing how far technology has gone in taking over our lives and replacing humans.
All the while, science is racing towards giving life to artificially intelligent robots made in the very “image” of man, so they are more easily accepted and interacted with.
And the prophecy of the Beast system in Revelation 13 foretells that there will be “… the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.”
And now, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics have advanced so rapidly that this prophecy doesn’t seem so far in the future, but feels like it is getting near.
Could it be that an image or likeness of the Antichrist is constructed with these technologies that makes it “come to life”?
That’s a kind of self-operating machine, a computer-operated cybernetic robot, programmed so that it can speak and act like it’s alive and command the worship of the world?
Indeed, technologies as Artificial intelligence and Robotics could possibly enable the fulfillment of prophecy, which no longer is far fetched and futuristic.
