A Minority Report-style smart security surveillance system that can identify people among a database of 2 billion faces within seconds has been revealed.
The system connects to millions of CCTV cameras and uses artificial intelligence to identify targets. Police in China have been using the system with huge success catching criminals in large population centers.
But there are plans where the system could be used for more than just police work in the future. For example, it could help to identify people at ATM bank machines, making chip and PIN a thing of the past.
But not everyone welcomes the technology, which echoes the all-seeing security systems featured in the 2002 Sci-Fi film Minority Report. Research and advocacy groups for human rights say security systems as these violate privacy and target dissent.
A system designed as this could in China or anywhere track and predict the activities of activists, dissidents and minorities, or those that authorities may say have extreme thoughts not agreeing with government policy.
Such amazing technology with increasing capabilities has rapidly become available as predicted by the Daniel 12 prophecy that knowledge would increase in the Last Days.
This kind of technology will support and integrate with the Beast System foretold to come in the Last Days of this age in the Revelation 13 prophecy.
