CHURCH MASSACRE UPDATE: Half Of Congregation (27) Killed

Signs of the Last Days® MinistryGeneral

Its reported the congregation at First Baptist Church in the small Texas  town of Sutherland Springs runs about 50 something. News outlets are now reporting that half that congregation was killed today at Sunday worship service.

Its reported that a man dressed in fatigues and  “full gear” walked into the church and shot members with the number of dead now reported at 27 and about that many again wounded.

The shooter who fled the scene in a vehicle was killed after a brief chase north into a neighboring county. It’s unclear if the shooter was killed by police or took his own life.

With no medical facilities in the county of the church, many air ambulance helicopters were called in to transport wounded to a hosptial.

Some reports have said that the shooter fired so many rounds that he also reloaded the rifle.

The scene outside the church was horribly tragic and heartbreaking as crying family members of loved ones gathered outside, desperate for information and praying.

The Governor of Texas condemned what he called an “evil act.” He wrote on Twitter, “Our prayers are with all who were harmed by this evil act. Our thanks to law enforcement for their response.”

President Donald Trump tweeted, “May God be w/ the people of Sutherland Springs, Texas. The FBI & law enforcement are on the scene. I am monitoring the situation from Japan.”

This latest gun massacre comes just over a month after the world was rocked by the mass shooting in Las Vegas where 59 were killed and more than 500 others wounded after gun maniac Stephen Paddock opened fire from a hotel balcony.

And it came just over two years after a white supremacist, Dylann Roof, entered a historically black church in Charleston, South Carolina, and shot nine people to death.

The United States suffers gun massacres that are unparalleled in the Western world.

These are Signs of the Last Days prophecies (Matthew 24) that foretell how in society people will hate one another and this time of rising violence would be as it were in the Days of Noah when violence filled the land (Genesis 6).

Jesus foretold that “… as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.” (Matthew 24)
