This video shows the emergence of new vents emitting dangerous gases into streets and yards prompting more evacuations in Hawaii.
Police went door-to-door in Hawaii to move out residents near the new volcanic vents emitting dangerous gases in residential areas since volcanic vents popped open and released lava, gas and steam inside neighborhoods.
A new area just to the west of the current residential area was evacuated after toxic clouds of sulfur dioxide started shooting up through cracks in a road. Hawaii Governor David Ige said “As more fissures open and toxic gas exposure increases, the potential of a larger scale evacuation increases.”
