Reports have come out that Iran has made a 25-year deal with China that will make Iran the gateway for the Kings of the East to enter the Middle East and come to the great river Euphrates as foretold in Revelation Prophecy.

News media as Oilprice.com, the Financial Express, the New York Times, and others, have leaked details of what Iranian officials confirm is a 25-year economic, political and military agreement between Iran and China that can be a sea-change in the Middle East.

Not only because of the massive financial investment China will make in Iran of a reported half trillion dollars, but also there is unprecedented collaboration building transportation to and across Iran, and the Chinese military will also have access and use of Iranian military bases.

This Iran-China agreement is a 25 year deal that is being called by some media as the ‘Lion-Dragon’ deal, referring to the beasts that are used to represent the two countries.

China is said to have viewed Iran as the gateway to a more robust economic interaction for them with the rest of the Middle East and the Mediterranean region.

And this deal will make Iran a very significant part of China’s new silk road called the One-Belt-One-Road initiative, which will connect China to all of Asia, and the Mediterranean Region including the Middle East and Europe.

And for Iran, this “Lion and Dragon” strategic partnership can enable Iran to avoid isolation and escape more economic damage from US sanctions.

And with China’s support, Iran can mount a serious challenge to the U.S. in the Middle East. And gone will be the days when Israel or the US could possibly consider strategic attacks into Iran.

Since after this agreement is implemented, there would be Chinese troops on Iranian bases, and Chinese companies in Iranian cities and transportation links. An attack on Iran would carry the risk that it could also be considered as an attack on China. Perhaps this is why Israel has recently stepped up its sabotage in Iran, thinking its now or never.

Obviously this agreement with Iran, shows that China feels it is in a position to defy the United States and powerful enough to withstand any American blow-back and penalties.

The genesis for this new chapter in bilateral ties between Iran and China first emerged in the immediate aftermath of the Chinese president’s visit to Tehran in 2016. Where Xi Jinping met with Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei, and they signed an agreement then to move forward in developing this deal.

Since then, Iran’s Foreign Minister, Mohammad Zarif, in meetings with his counterpart, China’s Foreign Minister, Wang Li, they have worked out this comprehensive 25-year deal for a new China-Iran strategic partnership that can now be finalized.

Under the agreement, titled “Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Islamic Republic of Iran and Peoples Republic of China”, China will invest a half a trillion dollars in the resource-rich nation of Iran, giving China preferential access to those natural resources and to the Iranian economy.

However, according to the recently leaked documents, the agreement is set to go further than just economic cooperation, and also includes unprecedented collaborations in transport and logistics across Iran, and in Iran’s southern ports and islands, but also includes military cooperation as well — including Chinese access and use of Iranian air bases and ports.

In Iran’s Dragon Deal, China will invest billions upgrading Iran’s transport infrastructure beginning with the 2,300-kilometer road that will link Tehran with China, as this road will connect with the link developed under the China Pakistan Economic Corridor of the “New Silk Road.”

And this road through the gateway of Iran will provide China connectivity into the Middle East including Syria at the Euphrates and thereafter via Turkey into Europe.

Beijing will also build rail links across Iran which China wants to link to its One-Belt-One-Road rail links, of which Iran will be a very important node.

China also intends to use the cheap labor available in Iran to build factories that will be financed, designed and overseen by big Chinese manufacturing companies with identical specifications and operations to those in China.

Then the manufactured products will reach Western markets through new transport links, also planned, financed and managed by China.

Also, through this deal with Iran, China will spend billions earmarked for developing Iran’s petrochemical, oil and gas industries which have suffered immensely as a result of the US-led economic sanctions.

China gets about 75 percent of its oil from abroad and is the world’s largest importer of oil, at more than 10 million barrels a day last year.

And under this agreement, Iran will provide China oil and gas on the cheap. Where for China’s investment in the oil-rich nation of Iran, China will get oil from Iran at a reportedly 25 to 33% heavily discounted price.

But another ominous aspect of the strategic lion-dragon partnership is military cooperation, where the Iran-China deal includes Chinese access and use of Iranian military bases and ports. Which is reported to have the backing of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps, who hold sway over such strategic matters impacting Iran.

China will initially position up to 5000 Chinese security personnel, meaning Chinese troops, in Iran to protect its projects and investments in Iran.

Also, the military cooperation between the two countries will include joint weapons development, training between Iranian and Chinese armed forces, and intelligence sharing; with China also promising to build up Iran’s electronic warfare capabilities. 

The Revelation prophecies of the Holy Bible (chapter 9, chapter 16) describe that there at the great river Euphrates in the Mid-East, there will come a great army, the number of which are two hundred million.

And there will be war, where a third of mankind will be killed. As the prophecy describes the Kings from the East will come to the great river Euphrates in the Middle East gathered to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

And right now it’s reported that Iran is making the deal with the dragon, which will bring the road, and the rails, and also the military, to Iran as the gateway through which the Kings of the East can flow into the Euphrates river region.

These events and conditions happening now are warning signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare now for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).
