It has been snowing in Vegas – and that’s not normal.

That’s why social media has been popping in and around Vegas with people sharing their snow pictures as the snow has been accumulating there. And all the pictures and videos of the falling snow has spurred people to head out and experience it in the real world.

Some even grabbed their sleds they had kept from when they lived in other locales, where you expect to get snow, and drove to a park in Vegas with a hill now covered in white, and did some sledding in Vegas baby. While nearby people were throwing snowballs not letting the opportunity pass them by.

Throughout the valley, parked cars began to develop snow beards on the bumpers. Trees glistened with snow. Gamblers who had come in from the snow chatted with dealers about it. The glow from street lights outside were brighter as the cascade of snow fell.

Even drivers on the roadways around the city and along the interstate were warned by the Nevada Highway Patrol to drive carefully and look out for ice, and then one section of the interstate was closed because of multiple accidents.

Mount Charleston, which is about 45 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip, got more than 3.5 inches of snow, and get this, the county  called for snowplows to clear roads at Mount Charleston.

But this is Vegas. Weird. This is not normal. Snow had recently hit parts of Hawaii unaccustomed to seeing it like the rare snowfall on Maui with some spots getting snow for the first time ever. And now it’s snowing in Vegas too.

A National Weather Service meteorologist said it was uncommon for the snowfall to be as widespread as it was in Las Vegas valley; could that be an understatement?

The prophecies of Jesus Christ in Luke 21 foretell that there will be events in the weather such as would cause the sea and the waves to be roaring.

These can be Signs of the Last Days showing we are nearing the end of this age and the coming of Lord Jesus.
