Los Angeles County broke record-heat levels as a heat wave continued to move throughout Southern California, officials said.
Woodland Hills reached a high of 121 degrees, which was the highest official temperature ever recorded in L.A. County, the National Weather Service announced.
Several cooling centers were opened up across the area for residents to stay cool during the extreme heat. While people were also advised to avoid outdoors as much as possible.
And residents were encouraged to follow guidelines issued by the statewide Flex Alert, which wants residents to keep their AC no lower than 78 degrees, keep blinds and drapes closed and avoid using major appliances between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m. due to the heat.
121 degrees is beginning to near the levels of intense heat like in Death Valley, were the temperature runs in the 120’s and recently set a new record of 130 degrees.
As extreme heat continues to intensify on earth.
The Biblical Prophecies (Revelation 16) foretell that the heat from the Sun will become so extreme that it will scorch humanity with great heat and fire at the end of this age.
These events and conditions happening now are warning signs pointing to the nearing fulfillment of the Last Days prophecies at the end of this age revealing it’s time to prepare now for the nearing appearance of Jesus Christ for His Church by being born again spiritually into the Kingdom of God as Jesus said we must (John 3) and His Apostles who were authorized (Matthew 16:19) described how (Acts 2).
