Pastors And Churches Arming Themselves – Last Days As Noah’s Are Here

Signs of the Last Days® MinistryGeneral

Around the country, threats and attacks in recent times are causing houses of worship to take steps to secure their sanctuaries. And after 26 people were killed at First Baptist Church of Sutherland Springs, Tex., the deadliest attack ever at a church, many more have begun looking hard at arming themselves for further protection.

A megachurch in Plano, Texas, with more than 43,000 members and a model of modern-day vigilance — with off-duty police, private security, and cameras monitored 24 hours a day — offered to hold a seminar on church security after the Sutherland Springs shooting.

Within 48 hours, more than 250 ministers and lay leaders from more than 100 churches in four states had signed up.

But many members of the clergy say that the very mission of houses of worship leaves them conflicted over imposing security measures. While others then say they have felt it necessary to have extra eyes, and sometimes weapons, watching their open doors.

One minister in an interview said that he felt safer knowing that one-quarter to half of his congregation carries concealed weapons to services on Sunday. And if somebody tried an attack in their church like Sutherland Springs, it would be the last thing they’ll ever do in this life.

Also, another pastor of a church size similar to Sutherland Springs said that from now on there will be three armed persons at all times, at every service. And nobody needs to know who they are, but the church will be protected.

Websites are now appearing online that are offering courses for parishioners and clergy members looking to implement increased safety measures. Churches are turning to security firms, or designating secretly armed personnel for services, or taking other defensive security related  measures.

These are Signs of the Last Days Prophecies of Jesus Christ in Matthew 24 where he foretold that outbreaks of violence in modern society would happen just as in the Last Days of Noah’s ancient world.

There’s no doubt the Sutherland Springs event was a satanic attack making a violent assault against Christianity. For Jesus said in John 8 that satan was a murderer from the beginning, one who comes only to steal and kill and destroy.

And now this evil satanic sign of violence is manifesting itself so strongly in our modern world that church congregations are being massacred. From this we know we live in a time as in the days of Noah which was filled with violence.

And as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. Even so, come Lord Jesus.
